“Tremendous view of the bush, the bay, and of the town.”
"I really enjoyed my stay at Karen's place in Russell. Russell itself is a quaint, charming little town right on the water, and Karen's place is only a 10-15 minute walk (either on a beautiful protected dirt path through the bush or via the road) or a 3 minute drive into the town. The apartment itself is private, self-contained, quiet and has a tremendous view of the bush, the bay, and of the town. The unit was clean and is plenty spacious for 1-2 people, and since I visited in the winter time, Karen was kind enough to turn the heat on before I arrived. She also provided me with some tips for things to see and do in the area. I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it."

"Absolutely stunning views over the township of Russell with easy walking access to local walking tracks in a gorgeous, friendly village. Our host Karen was exceptionally helpful. I would highly recommend this property particularly if you have an interest in walking and all the amazing birdlife."

“Total Luxury”
"Luxurious accommodation, great location, beautiful views, accommodating host - we could not have asked for more. We stayded in two different rooms over nine days. The Garden Suite is lovely and private,with stunning views to Russell harbour. (note that access is down a number of gravel steps, so could be challenging for those with significant physical challenges.). The Kiwi Suite is total luxury, with fully equipped kitchen and so much space! Host Karen was so prompt in communicating and extremely helpful. We were sad to leave and will be back next year for sure."

“Horizon dotted with islands”
"The view from almost every window in the Kiwi Suite is amazing. Russell is tucked into the bay below, and the horizon is dotted with islands and rolling hills. The suite is elegant and spacious, with many different areas to lay back and relax (always with a view). Karen was a marvelous host, quick to respond and very knowledgeable about Russell and the surrounding area. We loved Russell and when we're back, we'll be staying at the Kiwi Suite."
